BRIEF INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF THE OFFICE OF THE RECTOR
The Office of the Rector is the apex Office in the Institution and it is headed by the Rector. The Office regulates and or controls (as the case may be) all academic and non-academic divisions, departments and units through appointed heads. The Rector who heads the institution is the:
(i) The Chief Executive Officer of the Institution
(ii) The Chief Financial Officer of the Institution
(iii) The Chief Security Officer of the Institution
ACTIVITIES IN THE RECTOR’S OFFICE
The Office discharges the following functions:
(i) Maintenance of security of life of staff, students and properties of the Institution
(ii) Regulates financial expenses of the institution
(iii) Oversee academic and non-academic activities in the institution
(iv) Administers Internal and external correspondences in the Institution
(v) Conducts Top Management Committee Meeting
(vi) Regulates Appointments, Promotions and Disciplinary activities in the Institution
